Lord when I pray
And hear not the answers
To what I think really matters
Let me have faith in the masters
So I can receive their guidance
And when I go into the silence
Let the strength be given
And your Holy light to find it
Allow me to see the signs you send
such mysterious ways my precious friend
So I may smile and know
That you will guide on the way to go
And when confusion and doubt descend
And darkness blocks my vision
Let my apprehension be forgiven
So may continue on the path you’ve given
For I wish to serve the plan
And continue as disciple if I can
And when love is hidden from me
Allow me the grace to still believe
That there is a purpose I am here for
And blessings come eventually
So I learn that life shows us many solutions And the lessons I learn will produce them
To find better way to choose
The path that l need to best serve you
To live with your love and be free '
Til heaven on earth can be seen
And lord so I pray
And that we all can learn a better way to live Grant us compassion and the grace to forgive 'Til way can find a way
To live in peace one day
