Father Mother God
one true source of all light
my soul is naked before you
and I ask for your guidance in life

in this wheel of life with no beginning or end
this circle that so ever endlessly spins
I celebrate your light
that shines forth in everything

ever candle that's been lit
ever breath of spirits fire
now lightens up the way
that leads me ever higher

and there is always a moment
when you stop and take some time
to appreciate the blessings
given to you in your long climb

for in your heart of hearts
in your very core
there's a time that comes
that makes you evaluate what life is really for

and the love from the source shines down on you
and the holy waters baptize your soul
and the flames from the candle burn so bright
and you are free to let the past just go

father Mother God
and all Angels who serve on high
may I be able to honor you
as a disciple of your love in my life

and you stand naked in the dawn
in the light of a brand new day
and you fall down on your knees and pray
and thank God for all the blessings you received
to carry on a path that takes you to today
