Lord and Mother Mary
I hear the words today
How would you embody this love
That holds the essence of the Source of life?
How can you judge the way the children of God
Choose to play in this field of dreams?


As you watch the journey that has led us
To the dance that the miracle of love brings,
You find compassion to understand


The depth and breadth of this Creation,
And the power that brings us to this experience
That is beyond words.
An echo of the universe
Is heard in the song of the heart’s delight.


And we listen to the sound of the angels’ voices,
Whispering to our souls, encouraging us to carry on.
When we lose our way, we fall to our knees and pray,
Offering our broken hearts to be healed
By the breath of God’s divine love.


We behold this dream and the dance of life,
We believe with the innocence of faith
Born of such beauty, such glory,
And such exquisite imperfection,
That it cracks open the shell of judgment.


We release our fears,
And says yes to being here.
We are delivered with the breath of sweet salvation
That holds our saving grace,
And we are redeemed again
By God’s unending love.”
