Imagine Peace

This world is always in need of peace.
I’m reminded by the Master I love inside,
That there was a reason he was called the Prince of Peace,
For he brought that peace as a gift to us all,
Although the human race forgets that, Fighting for the power to control this world.
But wait, and take a moment, just a moment of your time,
And imagine a place of peace that is alive deep inside,
It carries a calm born of understanding,
And compassion for the illusions that blind our eyes.
You can feel it has all you need to find.
There’s a softness and a blessing,
As beautiful as the breath that butterfly flight brings,
And in this world of conflict where we fight for what we believe,
There is a love that’s calling for us to be at peace.
It’s a peace that cannot be bought and sold,
It’s a gift that’s given for free,
It is a blessing from the one Source,
And it can be found inside us if we could believe.
Everyone has peace within,
We were born with it inside,
It was there in the light of Heaven’s grace,
And it is there for us when we die.
Once you know you have it,
Don’t let a day go by
Without a moment at the break of day
Or when there’s chaos where you may reside.
Take a moment to imagine peace,
Call on the one who found it in the desert here,
​For you can pray for peace,
And you’ll find its blessings will appear.
