It's such a long, long journey
Coming back to you,
I seek a refuge
I wish to renew.
The love that’s there
Deep you're heart,
I wish once again to be a part Of the grace that saves
And can redeem
With The blessings of the service
I promise to you offer to thee.
I remember the vows
To do whatever I could,
I wish to be redeemed now
To return again to do whatever I should
That can free me to do some good.
I finally have paid all of my dues
And I know the price I paid
Will lead me back to you.
Please come Holy Spirit
Come now to my heart,
Help me once again to do my part,
Allow me to feel that divine love
That only you can impart.
I have such great faith
That the Holy Mother is there
To hold me in her arms,
I feel she truly understands and cares.
And there is such a light
That shines in God's eyes,
I pray for strength and compassion to find.
To you I pray for mercy and forgiveness
For all others did to me too,
And what I had to do to get back to you.
And the journey on that long path home To find redemption it seems,
To the Queen of Angels
Is waiting there for me.
On heaven's throne I can finally see
All the blessings that is been given
So freely to me.
I accept the love
And I know it's time
To carry on the journey,
To redemption and find that peace
That is waiting there inside.
